For over half a century, Beard Integrated Systems has provided process piping, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services for a wide variety of Industry Focus Groups

Beard was founded in 1928 as a residential plumbing company with a long and proud history of serving its customers. Over the years, as Beards’ roots grew stronger and deeper; the succession of the strong and diverse management teams continued to pave the way to success for over 90 years. Since our inception, Beard has taken pride in being a leader in turnkey installations of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Known for its craftsmanship and quality, Beard is a relationship-oriented company well versed at working with clients, designers & engineers, and industry experts to execute a broad spectrum of unique construction projects.

Today’s construction environment demands innovative solutions. Beard is prepared to provide those solutions. Whether we are building new facilities, overseeing plant retrofits or providing premium maintenance services, we make our client’s priorities our own. At every level of the company, our people are dedicated to doing the job right: a project is not finished until we have satisfied our client’s expectations. Our team of project management and cost estimating personnel are ready to form a tight alliance with our customers to provide installation services that are on-time and in-budget.

Beard has existed for almost a century for a single reason - to serve customers. And just as Beard’s founding fathers did before us, we will continue to develop customers for life.

Beard begins as a residential contractor

1932

Beard is awarded its first of many large commercial projects, The Ford Assembly plant in Dallas, TX

1940
1940

Beard begins developing key partnerships with the major GCs; Henry C. Beck, Austin Commercial

1950
1950

Beard begins work in the food and beverage industry; Best Foods, Coca Cola, Frito Lay.

1970
1970

Beard begins working with Texas Instruments (TI) and installs its first high purity piping at the facility in Lubbock, TX

1972

Beard begins its long-standing business relationship with General Motors in Arlington, TX.

1975

Beard begins its transition to the second generation as Buddy Beard takes over as President.

1980
1980

Beard expands its semiconductor reach beyond TTI to include SGS Thomson & Dallas Semiconductor, Motorola, J.C. O'Rourke & Sons, JW Bateson.

1982

Beard begins to offer to its customers 24-hour HVAC & Plumbing services.

1988

Beard diversifies into the Life Sciences/UHP industry, supporting: Abbott Labs, Alcon Labs, Air Liquide, Air Products.

1990
1995

Beard establishes its first full time office outside of Texas in Phoenix, AZ.

2000
2004

Bert Wells acquires the organization in an effort to diversify the company's strategic direction.

2006

Beard continues to diversify by developing its Electrical team.

2010
2011

Beard makes the acquisition of Brooks Mechanical to continue its strategic growth in the AZ market.

2013
Beard continues to expand its reach to upstate NY at the start of the art manufacturing facility Global Foundries.
2014
Beard is acquired by TCRG. This is a strategic acquisition centered around continued growth and diversification.
2015

Beard begins it's strategic partnerships with Micron Technologies in Manassas, VA. Beard would invest in an onsite presence on tool install, basebuild (including the new Blueridge Fab) and site sustaining full MEP.

2017

Beard continues to expand its footprint in South Texas by investing in a turnkey facility and fabrication facility. This 30,000 SF facility allows Beard to continue to grow and diversify its offering in the South Texas region.

2019

Based on Beard's strategic growth; large Investments are made in the HVAC/Plumbing service, Electrical and Fabrication partners.

2019

In order to continue to partner with national trade organization, Beard becomes a charter member of the Pipe Fabrication Institute (PFI).

2020
2020
Beard continues to invest in long standing partnership with Texas Instruments & Austin Commercial. ACLP is awarded the RFab2 Greenfield Project and Beard is awarded the DIW & IWWTP. Beard continues work through basebuild and into tool install.
2021

Beard continues its strategic partnership with Tesla. In 2021, Beard is awarded its first mechanical project on site. In late 2021, the Beard electrical team joins the mechanical team.

2022

Beard is awarded key strategic project with Samsung in Austin, Texas. This project is a critical manufacturing tool install project, which includes the full MEP Beard offering.

2022

The Beard Team is awarded a major project in Sherman, TX via Austin Commercial and Texas Instruments. This is a state of the art new facility for TI, known as SMI. Beard's total contract value is north of 80M over 2 years of construction.

2023
Based on a key strategic partnership, Beard partners with Qcells in Cartersville, GA on a solar manufacturing facility. This is the first project for Beard in Atlanta, Georgia.
2023

Beard is awarded a strategic partnership with a long term partner, Austin Commercial and Global Waters. This scope of work includes full MEP services with IWWTP & DI water plant. The scope of work has grown into a site sustaining & tool install contract.

2025

Beard invests in a new corporate facility & fabrication operation. This site includes over 250 SF of high purity cleanroom fabrication and large bore stainless steel & plastics and carbon steel. Additionally, it includes fabrication space for our electrical team, as well as our new BIM/VDC Design Integration process.
